Steer every agent from the lock screen

When a run hits a decision it should not make alone, it stops and asks you — then waits as long as it takes. Your answer goes straight back and it carries on from there.

Needs you

Migrate the 8 v1 Supabase calls in legacy/, or leave them?

Pick your agent

One line, whichever agent you run

claude mcp add vigil --transport http https://api.vigil.pompeii.ai/mcp

Run it once. Your agent opens the consent screen in a browser and the approval is what issues the credential — there is no key to paste.

These are the harnesses Vigil recognises by name and draws a mark for. Anything else still works — an unrecognised agent is shown exactly as it identified itself.

The part nothing else does

It holds the agent still while you decide

A notification service tells you something happened. Vigil holds the agent still while you decide. The call is open the whole time it is waiting, so the answer goes back as a return value — not as a message the agent has to be told to check.

If you never answer, the ask expires and the agent is handed that fact instead of a guess, along with the id to pick the thread back up.

01

The agent actually waits

ask does not return until you answer it. The agent stops rather than guessing, and picks up from exactly where it stopped. Every other way of doing this fires a message and keeps going, which means the decision was already made without you.

02

Works with whatever you run

One MCP server, so every agent you run reports into the same place — including the ones with no ask tool of their own, and the ones whose notifications only ever reach their own vendor's app.

03

Grouped into runs, not messages

A run opens, accumulates, and ends. Forty updates are one thread with a beginning and an end, so a glance tells you what is still going and what stopped — not forty banners to swipe away.

What it buys you

Close the laptop and let it come to you

One line to install, and nothing to configure after that. If your agents never need you, you will never hear from Vigil — which is the whole point of it being able to reach you when they do.

Price

$5/month

Unlimited runs, unlimited asks, every harness, one phone. No free tier and no trial — Vigil either reaches you or it is worthless, and you can tell inside a day.
